Farley Hill, Berkshire - Conversion of cesspool into septic tank

This is a job that has taken place in Farley Hill, Berkshire in 1993 and was the complete conversion of an 18,000 litre cesspool, which was costing a lot as it ha to be emptied every 6 weeks, into a new septic tank. This new septic tank only needs to be emptied every 7-8 years as there are only 3 people currently living in the house. This job was completed within about 6 weeks.

  • Firstly we completed trial holes and perculation testing which provided us with the correct information on the ground and the depth to install the new system.
  • We also installed a separate well and lift pump
  • 150 metres of irrigation system was installed at the correct depth.
  • Once complete the entire site was tidied and grass seeded
