Thatcham, Berkshire - Upgrade of existing septic tank

This is a job that has taken place in Thatcham, Reading and was the upgrade of an existing 4000 gallon septic tank, which provides for 4 houses.
This job was completed within a week and a half.

Before we arrived there had been many problems with the existing system and has been 'upgraded' several times by other companies.
We installed a new irrigation system as follows:

1. Firstly, we carried out perculation tests and trial holes which gave us the correct information required to installed the system at the correct depth.
2. We then dug to the correct depth where the good drainage exists.
3. We installed approximately 150 metres of new irrigation system at this correct depth.
4. We also installed a lift pump and well which pumps it up to the correct higher level to the irrigation system.
5. This entire system now works efficiently without any more problems occurring.
6. As usually after completion the entire site was put back to how it was found using the high Farley Groundworks standards.
